About

Haley Goodfellow, Registered Dietitian

Hi, I'm Haley– your friendly neighborhood dietitian.
I work with folks navigating eating disorders, autoimmune conditions, sports nutrition, and general health—aka the full spectrum of “What should I be eating and why is food so complicated?”

I became a dietitian because I’ve always been fascinated by the way food fuels us—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally too. With a background in athletics and a personal love of nutrition (and snacks), I knew I wanted to help people feel better in their bodies without turning food into the enemy.

My approach is all about meeting you where you're at—whether that's day one of recovery, mid-marathon training, or somewhere in between. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all plans or boring food rules. I believe in real life, real food, and helping you build a relationship with eating that actually feels good.

When I'm not working, you can probably find me lifting something heavy, trying to perfect a gluten-free recipe, or Googling if it’s too early for coffee number three (spoiler: it’s not).

My daughter Katie came to Haley in the summer of 2024  following having some episodes of stomach upset and discomfort and Haley was fantastic at being able to help Katie determine better ways to provide nutrition to herself throughout the day and also was really able to offer an amazing balance in encouraging Katie to have the wonderful treats that she always enjoys, but just adding more protein and drinking more water made a tremendous difference in how she was feeling physically very soon into the summer.

Haley was also expert in being able to talk to Katie openly about body image issues and the way Katie sometimes would label foods as “junk “ food or “bad“  foods. As a psychotherapist myself in private practice for over 30 years, I was very impressed with Haley‘s quick on her feet thinking and discernment and her ability to guide Katie away from food stereotyping as well as the importance of discussing maintenance in weighing herself. Katie was able to steer away from labeling foods as well as weighing herself regularly, which provided such a wonderful foundation for her to feel more confident and taking care of herself nutritionally as well as emotionally from a wellness standpoint.

I highly recommend Haley and have no doubt that she would be a fantastic source of encouragement and support in whatever area of nutrition, body image, and overall wellness you are hoping to achieve. I fully endorse her. She is wonderful and amazing and also has a fantastic sense of humor and keeps it real.
